Carolin Roth X Ursina Kubli and Lorenz Laich
Has the dream of owning a home already dreamed out for many?
Ursina Kubli and Lorenz Laich discuss the emotional value of property, the privilege of owning a home, and who can actually still afford it these days.

Living in your own home offers security, both emotionally and financially. However, barely 10% of today’s tenant households in Switzerland can afford to buy their own home. Ursina Kubli, Head of Real Estate Research at Zurcher Kantonalbank, and Lorenz Laich, CEO of Clientis BS Bank Schaffhausen, discuss supply and demand, regional differences in the property markets, and the rules banks must follow when granting mortgages.
The podcasts are available — by episodes — in German or French.
